Friendship

So Owen is starting to get more and more open to playing with Jack. It helps that Jack is now somewhat mobile in that he can roll all around the floor. Last night Owen was actually cooperating when I wanted to take pictures of him and Jack together. I wish Owen's eyes were open in, but you can totally tell that Jack is in no pain because his older brother is sitting on him. He loves any attention his big bro will give him...well almost! This afternoon Jack was sitting in his highchair and Owen thought he would play with him by ducking down and jumping up and saying "Boo" to Jack. Well...Jack had just woke up early from his nap and wasn't in the mood to play that game. He's normally fine with playing peek-a-boo, but boy he was not ready for that and he just let out the biggest cry. It was so sweet though that Owen wanted to play with him without any prompting from me at all. I sure hope that we see more and more of that.

Do you think Jack looks a lot like Michael's dad? I think he does, somewhat. The dimples, the big eyes, I dunno. He is so cute! And I am glad that Owen is willing to play more with Jack! :)

Jack actually looks just like me when I was a baby. It totally amazes me, but I look at old pictures and he is so me. I love it! The grandkid that looks the most like Rick is definitely Avery. Their baby pictures were practically identical. Crazy!

Hi Lindsay,
Your boys are beautiful!! Reading your blog and seeing your family has been a blessing to me. Your Wooden Ornament (the great Ornament Exchange) is on its way - wanted to let you know I hadn't forgot.
