Another Hiccup on the trip...

After leaving the Game Farm we went to the 3 Crabs Restaurant for lunch and then headed into town to get cash so we could go down to the Dungeness Spit. On the way there I heard this funny noise so we pulled over and found out I had a nail in my brand new tire. I called information, but there isn't a Discount Tire in Sequim so we went to Les Schwab instead. If you know me you know that this was very painful for me to have to use the services of Les Schwab, but when you're in a jam what can you do. They let us know it would take an hour and a half to two hours because they had people in front of us. Thankfully the Les Schwab was on the main street in Sequim so we decided to walk down to all the little shops. Did I mention it was pouring down rain!!! We did have an umbrella so that was good. We ducked into a coffee shop and warmed up and then went out and looked at all the shops. I ended up buying some pretty smelling soaps and by the time we walked back to Les Schwab it wasn't raining anymore and the van was being pulled out right when we got there and they fixed it for free!

  1. Why is it painful for you to use Les Schwab?

  2. When Michael and I were first married we took my car to Les Schwab to get the tire fixed. When I went to pick it up I was standing at the counter waiting to be helped while my dad waited over by the door. The guy completely ignored me and asked my dad if he needed help. My dad told him to help me. I got everything taken care of and went out to the car to find that they hadn't even locked it. Then when I was driving home I noticed that the radio was missing. It didn't jump out at me at first because Michael was using it as his work car and his old work car had had the radio stolen from it. They also stole a ladder and an air compresser. When we called Les Schwab that's when they mentioned that 9 other cars plus their store had been broken into. They couldn't do anything for us because our car wasn't parked inside the store it was only in the lot so it wasn't there problem. We filed a police report and came to find out that so had Les Schwab, but they didn't mention any of the 9 cars being broke into in their report. JERKS!!!!
