Mommy can't believe you are 11 months old today!! You still seem like such a baby to Mommy and I must admit I keep wishing you will stay that way longer. You are in such a hurry to grown up and be just like your big brother. You have consistently done things earlier than Owen did when he was a baby. You are everywhere and into everything...including the garbage. Mommy keeps forgetting to lock the gate to the stairs and I've found you halfway up twice now. Thankfully your Guardian Angel is more attentive than I am at times. You are babbling up a storm and saying a few things. You can say, mama, dada, all done and bye-bye. You wave like a pro. You love to make kissy noises with your lips and flick your lips with your fingers. You bounce to the hot dog song when we watch Mickey Mouse Playhouse in the morning. You are a ferocious (I'm not even sure that's a strong enough word) eater. You will eat anything and everything. Mommy has only found one thing that you're not fond of...egg yolk. You are sleeping better now. You take two 1 1/2 hr naps a day and you sleep about 11 hrs a night. Since Owen has started potty training mommy has had to focus a little more on him and you've learned to play by yourself these past few days. It's been such a blessing as you were quite clingy and unhappy if you weren't in mommy's arms. Mommy loves holding you, but I think it's good that you are finding joy in playing with your brother and your toys. Speaking of toys you've taken quite a liking to Owen's PT Cruiser that Pa got him and I've already informed Pa that you need your own or Owen is going to have a complete and utter meltdown the next time you play with his PT! You've also started to show a loving side when it comes to stuffed animals. You will now squeeze them and hold them. Mommy loves seeing that side of your personality. You are also a big pointer. You are almost always pointing or grabbing for things if you are in someones arms. When you point your finger is in the shape of a hook and you mostly point down at whatever you are trying to show us.
Happy 11 months Jackson!
WOWOW, What a Fantastic Write Up for Jackson, Lou!! Loved every word and it's all SO TRUE. He is a Joy, almost unspeakable and equal to that that Owen brings Your Sweet Mom & me.
ReplyDeletePS: I'll see to gettin' that PT Cruiser for Jack TODAY. Love, Dad
