Farmer's Market!

On Saturday morning Michael was working so the kids and I met up with some friends at the Des Moines Farmer's Market.

I gave the boys each $2 to spend so we roamed around a bit and came across a booth with fresh out of the oven chocolate chip cookies. The cookies were .75 each, but the lady didn't have any quarters so she gave the boys 2 for a $1. Then later on they each got their own Italian Soda with the rest of their money. I also used some of our WIC Farmers Market Checks to get some fruit and veggies.

As well as meeting up with our neighbor friends we also ran into a friend from MOPS and a couple from our church. It was fun being out in the sunshine and the community.
