Owen is all about Christmas lights this year and he doesn't just want to drive by them he wants to walk and get up close to them. Since the weather has been so dry lately we figured we should take advantage of it and go to this neighborhood in Federal Way that gets all decked out. We bundle the kids up, took hot cocoa with us and the wagon and we were off. The neighborhood is beautiful and it's small so the walk was perfect for little legs.
For a special treat afterwards we used one of the Cold Stone Groupons I got a few weeks back and went and had ice cream.
I got the Chocolate Devotion and all the kids enjoyed it.
The chewy brownies were the best part!
Michael got Peanut Butter Cup Perfection with cake batter ice cream instead of chocolate and Owen was the only one that really shared that with him. It was good, but a bit more peanut butter flavor than I liked, but I'm a chocolate ice cream girl at heart.
After ice cream we made one more stop at another neighborhood in Kent. This house on Manchester has been on Evening Magazine. The lights on the house are actually hooked up to music and they have their own radio station you can tune to and listen and watch. It's seriously gorgeous! If you're in the Kent area I strongly recommend stopping by.
