Last week after dinner Owen asked if we could have smores. Michael wasn't really wanting to build a fire since it was already hot outside. That's when I pulled up my dessert board on Pinterest and found this indoor smores recipe.
Of course I didn't really need a recipe for smores! The only thing that was different was using a cast iron pan and chocolate chips instead of chocolate bars.
Also instead of whole marshmallows the recipe called for you to cut them in half. Just a few minutes in the oven and they were perfect!
Smores dip with graham cracker chips! I wasn't sure how the semi-sweet chocolate chips would taste, but this was by far the best tasting smores I've ever had. Normally the chocolate is so blah, but this time it has a little extra flavor. To top it off I had one happy 7 year old!
