Zeke's Birthday & Party!

Zeke's actual birthday fell on a Friday. Since we weren't able to do a traditional birthday party I tried to make it super fun for him. 

He chose pancakes for breakfast and if you look closely some of them have darker circles in the middle. He calls those Alien Eye pancakes! 

After breakfast the kids gave Zeke his gifts. Owen gave him 2 big sized Airheads! 

Jack gave Zeke his coupon that he got to use on a Redbox movie. 

Ella was cute she wrapped up his gift in one of her girly blankets! 

She gave him one of her Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, one of her Swiss Roll Cakes and the Black Bear that Zeke loves so much! 

Later in the morning we went to the Redbox to pick out a movie to watch that night. Zeke chose The Call of the Wild. I had just read that book to the kids. Of course the book was way better than the movie! :) After that we went to Bartell's to pick out candy. I figured since we were out I'd pick up MCD's for lunch. 

Birthday boys lunch! 

While we were eating lunch Zeke's friend Kaiden showed up. They hadn't seen each other since March 13th!!! I was so happy that Kaiden's mom was okay with him coming over! Kaiden shared our lunch and then the boys ran off to play. Later they came back downstairs and Zeke opened his present. 

Kaiden's mom sewed Zeke his own mask with fun material...she ended up giving us the one she sewed for Kaiden too...so Zeke and Ella have masks now. Not sure if they are going to ever use them since we don't go anywhere that requires masks, but it was still sweet of her! 

Zeke also got a gift card to Amazon...the best gift ever!!! :) 

Kaiden stayed and play for a few hours....it was so nice for them both! 

For dinner I went and picked up The Big Box of pizza from Pizza Hut and we watched the movie.

The next day we had Zeke's party with Ga-Ga & Pa and Papa & Ruth.

diving sticks that light up. He's going to have lots of fun using these this summer at their pool or at Miss Rachael's pool. 

Of course Ga-Ga & Pa got Zeke $8!!!  

I love his face here! So excited to get his Imaginext Yeti Castle!!! 

He loves it! 

Since we weren't able to have a big themed party with friends and all the food, decor and goodie bags I decided to spend a little more on Zeke than I usually would. 

 I got him all the other things that went with his Yeti Castle....including the actual Yeti! He was so excited!!! 

His haul! 

The green thing is the Ogre that Zeke and Owen bought from Ebay a couple months ago. It goes to another Imaginext set we have. We had the Ogre years ago, but it broke. He brought it down so he could see if the Ogre was bigger than the Yeti. It was!

It was a great little celebration and Zeke loved it! He played with his Yeti set for 2 or 3 days straight. He also got to use his diving sticks at Miss Rachael's just a few days after this. So much fun!
