Last night we spent New Year's Eve at our friends Micah and Kim's house. They invited us over to celebrate coming year in a kid friendly fashion. We first ate dinner and then migrated down to their family room to play games.
Andrew & Josiah's Nana got them this game called Cariboo Island. It's from the makers of Cranium. It was fun for the kids and it teaches them their numbers, letters, colors and shapes. Eventually though all the kids got distracted and it ended up being Michael and Micah playing by themselves.
Jack and Andrew had fun playing in the couch cushions together.
The boys also had fun jumping on the bed.
Then Micah and Kim introduced us to another new game...Word On The Street. It was tons of fun!
Ella was great, but she was really sleepy!
At 9pm we rang in the New Year celebrating with all those East Coast folks. I made noisemakers this morning for the big boys out of toilet paper tubes and rice. It was fun for the 1 minute they used them.
Micah and Kim also had sparkling cider for us to toast with. The funny thing is Jack kept asking where the toast was!
The boys thought the fizzy cider was "spicy"!
Goodbye 2010....Hello 2011!
