Ella's Birthday fell on Thursday, February 16th so we had family night that night instead of on Wednesday night like we normal do. Also Michael had been at a conference that week and he wasn't able to get home until Thursday so it really worked out perfectly.
Ella wanted a white cake with cream cheese frosting.
Blowing out those candles!
Waving the smoke away!
Opening presents....
I wonder what could be in there...
Cold Hard Cash!!!
I think she was shocked!
Happy Girl with her $113!!!
The funny thing was originally it was $114....Pa miscounted.
All the boys chipped in to get Ella new paints and brushes!
She has lots of colors now!
Such sweet bubbies!
Sweet Ella Grace! I can't believe you're 13 years old.
For our present to Ella I took her out on Wednesday, February 15th for a shopping day. I wish I had taken pictures. I'm getting so bad about that. We went to Value Village where she found...3 flannels, 1 short sleeve shirt, a picture frame and earrings. We went in search for boots, but couldn't find any at Walmart or Target. We finally found the ones she wanted at Famous Footwear. To top it off we got Pink Drinks at Starbucks for a treat. It was so much fun shopping with my girl!
Since Papa & Miss Ruth had just gotten back from Uganda they weren't able to make it so they took Ella out for a birthday lunch at Olive Garden on March 5th. Olive Garden is Ella's love language so she really enjoyed that!
