Here's the random stuff that happened in February.
Charlie doesn't usually bring in much during the winter months, but on February 5th he ended his 2 month long hibernation and brought in this massive rat. We are so desensitized over here it's not so much freaky as it is impressive!
For the most part this boy spends his whole day sleeping on top of this pink blanket on the couch.
He "puts up" with Justine and his antics!
I walked by the couch one day and noticed a dust bunny.
It was the size of the rat!
On February 18th our youth group went to Highline Christian Church in Burien for a Collab night. They played the same game we've played before called...."Don't Lose Your Noodle". I don't know why it's named that since the object of the game is to not lose the cup that's on the top of the pool noodle. Who knows!
On Thursday, February 19th, I took Michael to the ER to get his heart checked. He'd been up most of the night with chest pain and it had moved into his shoulder and arm. I told him he needed to go to the ER, but I knew he wouldn't because he's a guy, but then when I saw him come upstairs with his shoes on I realized that he was really in pain if he was willing to go. Thankfully they got him back immediately and checked him out. They ruled out a heart attack and a bunch of other things. It ended up being Gerd which has the exact same symptoms as a heart attack. It was scary and he did not like being in that situation at all. He's used to the kids or I being the one lying on the bed in the ER. He did go to a Cardiologist and get his heart all checked out and he has a clean bill of health. Now his GP has him on a regimen that is keeping his Gerd at bay.
After Justine asked if he could kiss Ella on her birthday, February 16th, they still didn't kiss right away. They kissed for the first time on February 21st which was there 22nd month anniversary.
Logan came over that same weekend and Ella and her spent the whole day together on, February 22nd. I wasn't feeling good so I was in bed that day. The girls kept coming down to chat with me. One of the times they came down to show me their make-up. They each did the other persons make-up the same they did usually did theirs. Logan's make-up on Ella didn't look good on her, however, Ella's make-up on Logan looked great on her!
The next morning, Ella and I took Logan to the new Link Light Rail station near our house so she could ride into Seattle and meet up with her Dad for her doctors appt.
Earlier this year Ella really wanted to get contacts. It was time for her to get her RX checked anyways. The doctor ordered her a pair of practice contacts in her new RX. She had to come into the eye doctor and learn how to put them in. She was supposed to wear them for a week and then come back and if anything bothered her they could tweak it. Turns out that after wearing them a couple times she decided that contacts weren't for her. Thankfully the practice contacts didn't cost a thing and she got to keep them so she does have a pair that she can wear if she wants. I'm not sure how long they'll stay good for, but it's an option. I ended up seeing these glasses and she put them on and loved them right away.
