Fifth Tooth & Update on Sleep
Jack got his 5th tooth last Thursday. It's to the left of his big front tooth. You can barely see it in this picture. He wasn't being a very photogenic boy for Mommy.
Oh yeah and I totally should have kept my mouth shut because now Jack is napping horribly. Today he took 2 half an hour naps and cried a bunch. It just drives mommy to the brink I tell ya. Owen was and is still such a good sleeper that we were spoiled so Jack is just totally frustrating to us sometimes. Oh well! I remember my friend telling me you can't have a good sleeper and a good eater, it's either one or the other. Owen is a great sleeper and not a good eater and Jack is a great eater and not a good sleeper.

Mommy Time!
Yesterday we went to clean Ga-Ga & Pa's house and while Owen's was napping I put Jack in the exersaucer so I could finish cleaning the kitchen. Jack wasn't too keen on me being so far away from him so I sat down next to him and he was so happy to have mommy all to himself!

Rough Day
Yesterday was such a rough day for Mommy and Owen. We think Owen is trying to cut some more teeth and he's just at that age where he is testing me. I love this kid to pieces, but yesterday I sure needed a break from him. Thankfully Michael got home from work early and took over. He is such a wonderful man! After dinner when my patience was totally gone I came upstairs and had some alone time on the computer. About a half an hour before it was time for Owen to go to bed I went back downstairs and it was like a clean slate. Owen was so excited to see me and I was so excited to see him. I love that! It was really nice to end the day on a good note. Another plus about last night was Jack only woke up once to eat in the middle of the night. YAHOO!!!

Two Molars
Last night we were playing around with Owen and he opened his mouth really big and we saw two molars sticking out from the top of his mouth! YAHOO!! This is going to help him out so much when it comes to eating. Poor little guy has been having to chew things with his front teeth or just gum them to death. We also noticed that one of his bottom molars is right under the surface so it won't be long and he'll have 11 teeth!!! The funny thing is these molars are coming in before his Incisors so he'll have to go awhile with gaps in his teeth again.

8 Teeth
This morning when I was playing with Owen on the floor I noticed something in his mouth...it was tooth #8. He's had 7 teeth for quite sometime and I was wondering when he was going to even things out again. Last night he woke up around 2 and started crying. He doesn't normally cry in the middle of the night anymore. I waited to see if he would cry himself to sleep, but it just wasn't happening. When I did go into check on him he basically crawled out of his crib into my arms. I was sure he had a bad dream. I did give him some Tylenol just in case he was coming down with the same cold that Michael and I have had. After a little more crying he did go back to sleep. I don't think it was a bad dream anymore I'm sure the tooth was the culprit for the crying episode. I don't blame him for crying either the tooth is already sticking quite a ways out of his mouth so it must have just shot out. I can imagine that was pretty painful.
