In the early morning hours of January 15th 2007 I woke up to discover my water had broke. Owen was breeched so I had to have a C-Section. He was born at 6:04am at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. He was 6lbs 7.7oz and 19 1/4 inches long.

I remember seeing Michael after Owen was born. I have never seen him so... content. It was an amazing change and it was so awesome to see. This little bundle of joy brought this family together tighter than ever and I am pleased to have been a tiny part of the Martin's journey-- a journey long walked- of intricate details woven into a beautiful tapestry of experiences and life.
