Zeke's birthday landed on a Thursday night this year so we decided to just have a family dinner night. One of Zeke's favorite meals is Bacon Carbonara so we had that and then we had chocolate cake for dessert.
After dinner it was time for presents!
Zeke opened and read all his cards. Papa & Ruth got him a McDonald's Gift Card!
Of course he got to open the OJEZ box and get his $113!!!
The gift Daddy and I got him was so big I had to use another bag to go over the top of the gift since it stuck out from the first bag too far!
Zeke had found these race tracks online somehow and he really wanted them.
Jack convinced me to get two so they could make an extra long track.
The siblings all pitched in and bought Zeke a bunch of Disney Cars to go with his new race track.
I am always the worst when it comes to candles for the cake. I didn't have enough so I add one candle to one side and then 3 to the other side so that made 13!
We invited Ga-Ga & Pa and Papa & Ruth, but unfortunately Miss Ruth wasn't feeling the greatest so she stayed home.
Of course Justine also came over too. He's been joining us most weeks for family night which is normally on Wednesday and then he comes with us to Youth Group after dinner.
A couple days later Andrew & Josiah came over to spend the day hanging out with Zeke so he did have some friend time for his birthday as well! The funny thing is I recently had Zeke pick up all his cards from the top of the cabinet in front of the TV and he ended up finding a card from the Storer's with money in it that he somehow overlooked and never opened!
