Owen's 15th Birthday!

Owen's actual birthday fell on a Saturday this year.

We started the celebration off with cards from his siblings. The only thing Owen really wanted was money to buy more LEGO's so that's what he got.

Snuggling their brother!

My 4 blessings!

Holy cow look at all that cash!

Next up was our gift to Owen, but he'd have to work for it! I spent quite a bit of time the night before thinking of a scavenger hunt for him with rhyming clues and everything.

I had tied the first clue up in a little scroll....here's what it said!

He had to climb up and find the next clue on top of the deep freezer.

That clue had a $20 bill with it. Here's what the next clue said.

Owen's job is the dishes so he knew right where to go, but it was hard to figure out because it wasn't in the dishwasher it was in the container that holds the dishwasher tabs. Hence why it talks about whether or not they're clean.

The next clue also had $20 with it and here's what it said.

Charlie's lair is under our bed and the funny thing was Charlie was laying right on top of the final paper with the $20 in it.

$60 total!

He was blown away and so thankful. In fact all the kids had such fun with it they've asked me to do this for their birthday's too!

The next thing on the list for Owen's birthday celebration was going to the movies. We went and saw the new Ghostbusters Movie. I was worried that Zeke would be freaked out, but it wasn't really scary. At the end I looked over and asked if he liked it and he said, "That was awesome!"

The last thing on Owen's celebration list was dinner at Black Bear Diner! He got his signature dish which is the French Toast with a side of Bacon. He was a happy guy! He also got birthday ice cream for dessert!

Ga-Ga & Pa's gift came a bit after his birthday. They had been out of town in the beginning of January and weren't able to come over until January 23rd. They also knew he wanted money so he got a Benjamin and then three $5 since he turned 15! He made out like a bandit!

He of course wanted to order all the LEGO sets he'd been wanting!

Your Amazon packages have arrived!

He was able to get 3 LEGO sets and still had a little money left over to put in his bank account towards his car.

Such a great time celebrating this young man!
