Today we decided we couldn't waste such a nice day at home so we headed out to Des Moines Beach Park. It was so perfect out...blue sky and barely any wind at all.
We had so much fun turning over rocks with the boys and discovering new creatures. See the angry crab?
We found muscles, star fish, hermit crabs, a bull fish and we saw clams spitting. I didn't even knew they did that. It was fun to watch.
Michael also found shrimp and caught a few. They were really small. Of course we put all the creatures we found back in their homes when we were done looking at them.
Of course the boys had fun throwing rocks and getting soaked!

We packed a picnic lunch and after over an hour of exploring we decided to eat. Jack is looking at Daddy funny because he just put a nacho cheese Doritoes in his PB & J sandwich. He's weird! :)

On our way home we decided to top of our fun outing with a couple $1 sundaes from MCD's. 
Now that's a good way to end a fun family outing.
