Wouldn't YOU Hire This Cutie???

Well.....someone DID!!!!!

That's right...Michael was only laid off for a month! We feel so incredibly blessed! God is so faithful when it comes to providing for His children!

Michael starts his new job on Monday morning at American Income Life Insurance Company. What a change for Michael...from manual laborer to corporate America! Michael very much felt that him being laid off was God's way of getting him OUT of the painting industry. I've already made one trip to Old Navy to get Michael some work clothes (the outfit above is one of them) and I plan to make another trip soon. As he progresses in the company I'm sure we'll be making a trip or two to K & G's to get him some suits.

Needless to say we are both very excited and of course nervous about this new chapter in our lives. The boys and I have become quite accustomed to having him home all the time. His new job will require him to work long hours for the first few months so it will be like summer revisited here at our house. I'm so thankful that he has a job though so I'm already getting myself in the mindset that this super busy time will only be for a short while and the benefits from it will be great.

Thank you so much praying for our family during this time. Maybe this quick turn around for us is a sign that the economy is in fact getting better...one can hope! :)
