On Saturday night we decided to go out to eat just the 4 of us. This isn't something that happens very often so it was a nice treat. We went to Applebees and had some great food. We ordered Owen some macaroni and cheese and chocolate milk. He ate almost the whole bowl! The nice thing was it wasn't $5.99 for a kids meal it was only $3.49 so that was nice.
Owen is saying cheese in this picture. He was such a good boy. It was his first time sitting in a booster seat and not a high chair. He didn't try to get up at all...he just ate his food and enjoyed coloring.
Jack got to try two new things while we were at dinner. He got to try french fries and vanilla ice cream. He held the french fry so tight he mushed them to death, but he like gnawing on them. The first time I gave him some ice cream he made the most awful face because it was so cold, but after that he just loved it. It got to the point where he was actually getting a little demanding because he wanted more.
