The Boeing Flight Museum!

Last Thursday was free night at The Boeing Flight Museum. It started at 5pm and went to 9pm. Michael got a ride to work from a co-worker so then the kids and I just picked him up in Burien and headed to the museum.

I had packed a picnic dinner, but it was bit windy outside so we ate in the van. The kids were pretty excited so they didn't eat the best.

The parking lot was crowded, but once we got inside it didn't feel busy at all. We spent a few minutes in the main area of the museum and then we headed over to the Kids Fly Zone. It's not really that cool, but it was fun to let the kids run around.

Michael took this picture of Jack and I immediately remembered taking the below picture of Owen back in July of 2008 in the exact same spot. I must have been standing on the other side of the mural though because the pictures are like mirror images of each other.

The boys had fun getting into the airplanes and the helicopter.

I really wanted to go over to the big airplanes so we could go through those. Thankfully the rain held off for us since they are outside.

Inside Air Force One...Owen wanted to sit in the Presidents chair.

Since the last time we were there they have built this skybridge it's so nice to be able to walk across the street and not worry about the traffic. I wish we could have seen it in the dark because they had all sorts of lights on it so it's probably pretty cool looking.

While I took the boys into the gift shop...something I will never do again...Michael let Sissy Girl walk around and stretch her legs.

Since we didn't spend any money for our fun family outing I had already thought it would be fun to go get ice cream at DQ or something. Unfortunately the coupons I had for DQ weren't for anything we liked. So we decided to go to Wendy's instead for Frosties and French Fries. They have mini Frosties now and they are only .54!!! 4 of those and a large fry came to less than $5! Not bad for dessert for 5!
