How can it be that my baby girl is already 2 years old???
She still feels like such a baby to me. With Owen and Jack by the time they were this age we had already added another baby to the family so it feels funny that Ella is this age and still technically the baby of the family.
What is Ella up to these days...
She is putting more and more words together each day. She's a bit hard to understand, but she understands EVERYTHING.
She finally is enjoying the shower and doesn't freak out too bad when water is dumped on her head.
She isn't being quite as ornery when it comes to having me change her diaper.
She has never really liked to be read to, but lately she'll sit through a short book. She would much rather flip through the pages at her own pace and look at the pictures.
She still LOVES to draw!
She is quite helpful around the house with taking things to the garbage, sink or hamper.
Her hair is thisclose to being able to all go into a ponytail.
She is quite possessive about what is hers and will let you know it. "Mine" is her favorite word!
She is stingey when it comes to giving out hugs and kisses. It has to be on her terms.
She still sleeps like a champ, taking one nap 1.5 - 2 hour nap a day and then going to bed at 8pm and usually up at 7:30am. She loves her sleep and will ask to go "nigh nigh" quite frequently.
She has always been our best eater, but we have noticed lately that she is getting a bit more picky and won't eat some things she used to.
She is getting into everything these days. The other day when I was doing something I came into the room and she had Daddy's wallet taken apart. She is so cute too because she knows she's doing something naughty. She immediately gets up and tries to walk away with this look on her face that says, "Who did that?"
Ella Bean you have brought such joy to our lives. It has been so fun seeing life through the eyes of a girl. We are so thankful that God blessed us to raise, love and care for you. You are a jewel!
