Time Alone!

On Friday after the kids napped Ga-Ga & Pa came and picked them up and whisked them away for a weekend sleepover. This was Ella's first time staying away from Mama ever! After they left Michael and I left and went out to dinner. We had been saving our gift certificate to Applebee's that we were blessed with specifically for this date night.

After eating we went over to Ross so I could buy a pair of maternity capris and a summer maternity top. This baby is going to be our first fall baby so I have very little summer maternity clothes. We were going to use one of the other gift cards we got to Regal Cinemas, but there isn't really anything good playing right now so we went to the cheap theater instead and saw Unknown. It was good!

On Saturday we slept in had breakfast and then went out and did yard work. I know I know...what a fun date weekend thing to do, but I really felt like getting outside and working! It really was a perfect day to work outside and we were only out there for about 2 hours and we got so much done. After that we came in ate junk and watched 2 Harry Potter movies. We were going to go out to another movie, but there wasn't really anything else playing that we wanted to see so we ended up having a Harry Potter marathon! It was so nice to sleep, eat and watch whatever, whenever we wanted. It was nice downtime that we needed!

On Sunday morning Ga-Ga and Pa brought the kiddos home. We were so happy to see them and they were happy to see us. They had a great time! Today they have all been a bit clingy and I'm sure that will continue for a couple days, but I don't mind! ;)
